We get the desire to purchase YouTube subscribers. It’s not something we will shame you for.
We are going to blow your bubble. It ain’t working. The truth is that creators behind the world’s best YouTube channels aren’t spending their time or money on shady growth schemes. They are too busy creating amazing videos.
Let’s first look at the “free” YouTube subscription services. Keep in mind, however, that not everything is truly free. You have to pay for the product if you don’t want it.
Your “free” subscribers are earned by liking and subscribing on other channels as directed by the service. Many require you to subscribe 20 channels and to like a certain amount of videos. You will be subscribed to 10 channels in return.
You are basically hiring yourself as a clickfarm. It’s similar to the time we tried Instagram engagement pods.
This service wants you to get tired of endless clicking and decide to buy YouTube subscribers. The service wins, regardless of whether you pay for them or not. What do you get, whether you pay for them or get them free of charge?

Many clickbait videos claim to show you how to get 1000 YouTube subscribers free of cost. You could even get a million subscribers! It’s possible to make a million dollars if it sounds too good to be true.
This video, for example, should be obvious by the time it starts drawing polygons.
These videos have a lot of views, in this case more than 1.2million. They are popular among people who want to increase their YouTube subscribers. They’re clickbait. They aren’t real. If you’re just looking for a good laugh, don’t waste any time.
There is no way around it. You have to work hard. There are simple and practical ways to build a YouTube following. Let’s get started.

These are our top tips for converting viewers to subscribers, sorted in alphabetical order. These are not all the best practices. You can try one of these tips on every video you post. Or, use one or two per week.
1. 1.Invite your viewers to Subscribe
It’s easy to do.
Sometimes, your audience needs to be reminded.
Do you find asking for the subscription too salesy? If you ask too quickly or too often, it can be. A quick reminder to subscribe at end of video will make it easier for your viewers to follow along with what you are doing.
Make sure to show why you channel is worth subscribing. You should only ask for a subscription if you have provided useful and new information or if you make viewers laugh.
2. 2.End your video by teasing what you are working on next
Subscribe to YouTube channels is an act that builds anticipation. If you do your job well, viewers will want to see more about your brand.
The best way to get people to subscribe is to hype your next video and make it obvious why they shouldn’t be missed.

3. Verify your Google Account
YouTube users are allowed to upload videos upto 15 minutes in length by default. You will need to verify your account if you wish to create content that is longer than 15 minutes.
This is an important step to take if you want to create a professional channel.
To verify your account, go to www.youtube.com/verify on your computer (not a mobile device), and follow the instructions.
After verifying your account, videos can be uploaded up to 256GB and 12 hours in length.
4. 4. Interact with your audience to build community
Your viewers will be more inclined to watch your work if you build relationships with them. Comment. Follow creators on your channel and look at their videos.
Consider your channel as a community. Be active and not passive.
Your audience will provide plenty of content ideas if you pay close attention to their comments.
It can be difficult to keep up with all the comments. If you manage your YouTube presence using Hootsuite, you can add comment streams to your Hootsuite dashboard. This makes it simple to view, respond to, and/or moderate all of your videos from one location.
5. Create effective channel branding
Branding is an important way for viewers to know who you really are and what they can expect on your channel.
Every person who visits your YouTube channel will see your banner. Perhaps they’ve just seen a video and want more. They might be a potential subscriber.
Make sure that they know where they are, and why they should stay.
Your banner should be clear, concise, and compelling. It must also be optimized for all devices. For example, you don’t want any important information obscured by your social media buttons.

Your channel icon is basically your YouTube logo. It is displayed on your channel page as well as any comments you make on YouTube. It should clearly represent you and your brand and be easy to see even in a small format.

7. Your thumbnails should be branded
A thumbnail is a still image of 1280x720px that serves as a cover for your video. It’s like a mini movie poster. This is your best chance to convince someone to watch your video. (Aside form your video titles, but more later).
We’re not talking about getting YouTube views today (we’ve got a different post for that), so why bring this up here? Consistent, professional thumbnails are an important part of your channel branding. They are a great way to show new viewers who you are as creators.
Your thumbnails should have consistent branding. You can use the same font, color palette or frame composition to let people know, at least subconsciously, that they are viewing a video from your channel.
For example, take a quick peek at Jack Sturgess’s Bake with Jack YouTube channel. His compelling thumbnails and consistent uploads are a great reason to subscribe.
8. YouTube’s clickable subscription tools can be used in your videos
YouTube has a few clickable tools that can be used to convert YouTube viewers into channel subscribers.
This is a still image that you place at the end your video. It reminds people to subscribe or adds another call to action before YouTube moves them to the next video. An end screen can be added to any video uploaded during the upload process as long as it is not longer than 25 seconds.
End screens can also be added to existing videos. This can help you convert subscribers immediately from your content.

9. Playlists are a way to think about it.
Playlists can be a great way of increasing your channel’s viewing time. A YouTube playlist plays a series of videos in a predetermined order, much like a Netflix series. The viewer doesn’t need to click on the next video; they can just relax and watch the content continue.
Each playlist can be thought of as a mini-channel or an ongoing series. A person who watches several videos at once and enjoys them all will have plenty of reasons to subscribe.

10. 10.You can add up 12 sections to your YouTube channel homepage from the layout tab.
This allows you display your best content at the top of your channel homepage so that new viewers can see them as they consider whether or not to click on the Subscribe button.
The playlists that you have created in the previous tip can be showcased by sections. To highlight the immense value that you offer, create playlists that are specific to different viewers.
